Each year 30–35% of all claims filed in North Dakota are musculoskeletal injuries. Prevention is the first line of defense against injury. Avoid costly claims and be proactive about staying safe in the workplace by participating in the Ergonomic Grant Program.
Ergonomic Assessments
A network of experienced healthcare professionals throughout North Dakota is available to conduct ergonomic assessments at your facility. WSI will pay 75% of the assessment fees and the employer is responsible for the remaining 25%. The provider will bill the employer directly for 25%. WSI will pay 100% for educational related services.
Ergonomic Grants
Employers are eligible for grant funding once the assessments have been completed. WSI will pay 75% of approved ergonomic equipment, up to the maximum eligible amount. Award amounts are based on the size of the employer’s standard premium.
