Ricky Morgan, PT, DPT, Cert MDT, OCS
Ricky grew up in Thompson, North Dakota. He graduated from Thompson High School in 2009 where he was a 3-sport athlete. His inspiration for becoming a Physical Therapist stemmed from his high school athletic career and his desire to continue to be involved with athletes. After job shadowing at various clinics, Ricky became intrigued by the ability to help more than just athletes, but having the ability to help all age groups with various injuries.
Ricky attended the University of North Dakota where he graduated with his DPT in 2015. He has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic clinics specializing in back and neck pain, post-surgical conditions, chronic pain, and treating multiple musculoskeletal injuries involving, but not limited to, the foot/ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow. Ricky is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT), which is an evidence based assessment and management protocol for patients with spinal and extremity problems. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Ricky also teaches at the University of North Dakota in the Physical Therapy Department.
Outside of work, Ricky loves spending time with family and friends, as well as hunting, fishing, golfing, being outdoors, and watching/playing sports. He is married to his beautiful wife, Laura and they are proud parents of 3 boys, Oliver, Everett, and Edison.
